Once its built, there&#8217;s alarm systems, and landscapers. No one expects a plumber to design a house. Yet, when we hire for websites, we expect a jack of all trades approach, hiring a designer or a developer. To best ensure positive outcome, understand the roles people play in building a website: information architect, server administration, design, UI, UX, development, plugins, security, SEO, SEM, content, and ongoing testing and analytics. Being the contractor of your website is just as hard as being the contractor on your house. <\/p>\n<p>This session will cover:<\/p>\n<p>1. How to determine how much site you need, can afford and manage<br \/>\n2. How to determine the people you&#8217;ll want to hire to do the job and manage them<br \/>\n3.
