The Developer’s Workshop will be held at FIU’s Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) building in room SIPA 125 ( Click here to view the FIU Map) on Friday, February 28th.
We put together this guide for Developer’s Workshop to provide you with all the information and answers that you will need to know and what to do before coming, where to go and what to expect during the whole day.
BEFORE YOU ATTEND

THE DAY OF THE WORKSHOP
1. Going to the event

- PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON ADMIN OR FACULTY & STAFF SPACES.
2. Registration
- After parking, proceed directly to the SIPA building, room 125. THERE IS NO CENTRAL REGISTRATION ON FRIDAY.
- Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. We will have a registration list so you do not need to bring anything but yourself (and your laptop, notebooks, etc.). We will have blank name tags and markers.
- Doors to the room will open at 8:45am. Please do not enter the room until 8:45am.
- The workshop will start at 9:00am. Please be seated by the time the workshop starts.
NOTE: Because it’s spring break at FIU, all restaurants are closed including Starbucks. So bring extra coffee or food if you feel the need.

- FIU has provided us access to their WiFi network. Once you accept the terms, your access will be good for the rest of the day
LUNCH:
Catered lunch will be provided for all workshops. The following will be served:
- Wraps
- A choice of veggie and meat wraps
- Chips
- Drinks
- Soda
- Bottled Water
- Additional Water Available In The Building
Since there are no restaurants open on campus, we highly suggest if the above isn’t suited to your diet that you bring your lunch. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Lunch will be served at the MANGO Building starting at 12:30 PM
