Let's Talk Accessibility (And why Wheelchairs are not a Disability)

I will be covering Accessibility specific issues that Web Designers and Web Developers need to be aware of not only from an End-User stand-point but also with fellow developers in the community, business partners and potential clients.

An attendee can expect to get a much deeper than usual dive into the issues of bias, ignorance or simply unknowing facts about disabilities and how to offer solutions. Be it to realize how simple screenreaders are and that there are plenty free options or how to install a simple plugin that will improve accessibility across your site *tremendously* without causing much slowdown.

And of course good practices and that especially in an open source community like WordPress one should always consider accessibility for a simply superior user experience, thus happier end users, thus better converting metrics.
